Welcome! I’m Christie. I love nothing more than inspiring midlife women to embrace their unique style, travel the world, and live a life full of purpose. I believe that every stage of life is an opportunity to redefine who we are and how we show up in the world. Through my blog, I share fashion tips, travel adventures, and insights on living with intention, so you can feel confident, empowered, and ready to make the most of every day.
Three years ago I was tired, broken and stuck in a rut. The duties of being a single mom and running a photography business had taken their toll. I had lost all of my magic and certainly my mojo. My daily look consisted of black leggings, big baggy t-shirts, and I rarely wore makeup. I also kept my hair pretty short only so that I wouldn’t have to style it. I told myself it was because I wanted to be comfortable and easy.
The truth is I was hiding.
My turnaround came from seeing photos from a family vacation. I didn’t even recognize myself and knew I was ready for a change. At first, I went slow. I started with wearing a little makeup and switching out the leggings for actual pants. It felt uncomfortable at first but I kept going.

I was now ready to totally re-invent myself, so I turned to Pinterest, Instagram and blogs to get inspiration. I was disappointed that there were very few examples of stylish midlife women. My search results were full of basic and matronly outfits that left me completely frustrated. Where were all of the fabulous women over 50?
This blog was inspired by my own style journey and perfecting the art of getting dressed. I am passionate about helping women show up confidently and get what they came for…simply by choosing an outfit they feel incredible in. It is truly life-changing.

Today, I can’t imagine not getting ready for my day without a stylish outfit and my signature red lip. Using my personal style has changed my life dramatically. My business has increased 4X, I have re-engaged with amazing friends, travel the world and I am out living a fabulous life.
So, thank you for taking a look! I hope you find inspiration in the pages of this blog.
xo,
Christie
